Variable and gusty winds from the NNW, along with many boats from three other classes made it an interesting day of racing. The WYS committed were a bit short staffed, so they setup one course with two geometries for all the classes, and started the SS, Sunfish, Laser, and 420 all at the same time. The flying scott boats started separately, but there were always other boats maneuvering around each other on the courses. It was good to see five SS boats in the race, and some good challengers for the prizes. Many thanks to the Westhampton Yacht Squadron race committee for hosting the race on Saturday.
