The Smith Point race was held on Sunday, June 27, and was attended by a few veteran sailors skippering 4 boats. The race consisted of two legs. The first leg was from Harts Cove to Great Gun Beach. The second leg was from Great Gun Beach returning to Harts Cove. The skippers and crew had a fun pic-nic lunch and beach rest between the two legs. The racers were accompanied by two power boats that acted as committee boat and support/safety boat.
